Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan’s Love Aaj Kal has been the talk of the town ever since its announcement. The film is a sequel to the 2009 released Imtiaz Ali film with the same name that starred Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. The trailer of the film just dropped yesterday and has been well received by the audience but it looks like daddy Saif is not quite impressed by it.
During an interview with Indian Express, Saif was asked about his opinion on the new trailer of Love Aaj Kal. he firstly wished the team all the best and supported Sara Ali Khan for her new film but said that he liked the trailer of his film (2009 released Love Aaj Kal starring him and Deepika) more.
Saif revealed, “I don’t know why I still remember shooting for Love Aaj Kal. I saw the trailer, and obviously, I wish them all the best. I wish Sara the best for everything she does because she is my daughter. I kind of like my film’s (Love Aaj Kal with Deepika Padukone in 2009) trailer more. What to say, but I wish them all the best.”
Earlier at the trailer launch of Love Aaj Kal, Sara was asked about the comparison of her role to that of Deepika’s. She replied to it with a very humble answer and said, ““I think the comparison is something which will go on. But I don’t think this is Love Aaj Kal 2. We are not making a sequel here. This film depicts what love is in today’s time. In Love Aaj Kal, Imtiaz sir, Deepika and my father had beautifully shown what love was 11 years ago.”

She further added, “We have tried to do the same thing in our film. So comparison will happen.”
Meanwhile, Love Aaj Kal also stars Randeep Hooda in a pivotal role. The film is produced by Reliance Entertainment and Maddock Films and it will hit the screens on February 14, 2020.
As for Saif Ali Khan, he will be seen next in Jawaani Jaaneman opposite Tabu. the film marks Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaya F’s debut into Bollywood as well. Directed by Nitin Kakkar, the film is slated to hit the theatres on February 7.
