She scolds Vicky for marrying her. Vicky says he actually loves her. Mamaji hears that and asks if she knew about their relation. She says she had an inkling. Vicky asks his father not to bring up these questions at the moment and asks her mother to accept Elena else she will lose him also. She asks if he is threatening him. She asks him to apologise to Dev (Shaheer Sheikh).
Asha consoles Bijoy. Sona calls Asha and tells her that she is really angry. Asha asks her to stay strong and asks her to support Elena. Dev and Sona disucss the matter. Dev goes to talk to Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar). He tells her that he is really angry on Vicky. Ishwari tries to calm him down and tell him that what’s done can’t be changed. She tells her that like they accepted Sonakshi, they will have to accept Elena too.
Nikki asks Elena whose plan was it to run and get married. Sona asks her not to bring up this topic again and asks her to leave. Sona asks Elena if she is sure about this relationship. Elena assures her that everyhting will be fine and hugs her. Vicky goes and apologises to Dev. He tells him that he thought Dev will understand him as he too has fallen in true love like him. Dev asks him if he really loves her. He tells him that he really does. Dev hugs him and congratulates him.
Ishwari asks Radha to do aarti. Elena enters the house. They take everyone’s blessings. Vicky whispers in Sona’s ears that his love won and she lost. Sona scolds Dev for working so late in night. He thanks Sona for calming him down and making him take right decisions. She thanks him too. Vicky knocks on the door and tells him that his room’s AC has stopped functioning. Sona asks them to sleep in their bedroom. Elena asks where will they sleep then. Sona says they will sleep outside in the garden.
Competing with critically acclaimed shows like ‘Westworld’ and ‘Peaky Blinders’, Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s (Founder of Swastik Productions) Mahabharat (2013-2014) has ranked among the top 18 shows in the world on an American website. The list was made on the basis of the user rating on popular movie website IMDB (Internet Movie Database).
Siddharth said in a statment, “I feel blessed. When I started working on ‘Mahabharat’, all I wished was to create history. We wanted our work to be appreciated by people. Since ours is a different interpretation of the epic, targeting a much younger Indian audience, we were unsure of the outcome. All we knew was to give it our best, so this news makes us proud of our efforts. Also, our series is over 260 episodes compared to other series made in the West. Since they have a limited number of episodes which ensures that the product is of a certain quality, we telecast 26 episodes a month, and still we were able to maintain a certain standard and were mentioned in the same league as international series, makes us very ecstatic.
Mahabharat became the talking point in the country because of its gripping screenplay, cast and larger than life costumes. Tewary’s deep research got him huge appreciation. From costume to casting, everything was done under his observation. Sidharth has always maintained that his show wasn’t a remake of BR’s Chopra’s Mahabharat, instead it was a reinterpretation of the epic. It took him five years to put the series on air.
Sidharth has many great shows like Razia Sultan and Suryaputra Karn to his credit. Siddharth’s latest show ‘Karamphaldata Shani’ (Colors) is also being appreciated by the audience.

Om Swami is the only person in the house who supports Priyanka but his support or opinion is next to unimportant in the house. This is not the first time Priyanka has made us cringe and trust me, we’re not even referring to the peeing incident. She is getting weird and disgusting by the day. I don’t think there is a word to describe her. Priyanka’s return in the house was a shocking and unhappy day for all the other contestants, excluding Om Swami. We know that Priyanka has come back with a strategy but with everything that she is doing in the house, her strategy is a little unclear. She was even seen flirting with Manveer in the house, which almost scared him. She befriended Mona Lisa after realising that Manu Punjabi won’t leave her side but got back to being bitchy after Manu had to leave the house.
She became good friends with Bani but lashed out at her just because Bani nominated her over Jason Shah and Sahil Anand. As a sanchalika of the luxury budget task, she is making things more difficult for the other contestants. But what she did now is clearly crossing the line. What do you think? After living a day full of traffic, fines and fights, the contestants wake up to the tunes of ‘Chakke Mein Chakka, Chakke Pe Gaadi’. And soon enough, the drama begins! Later in the day, Manveer and Gaurav try to decipher Bani’s behaviour. Gaurav confesses that he often ends up in trouble because of she expects a lot from their friendship. Hearing this, Mona advises Gaurav to talk to Bani. But, this only results in another argument because Gaurav doesn’t give her notes of 20 points each. Quite furious with Bani’s behaviour, Gaurav walks away in a huff after giving her all his points.

Unable to fathom that Lopa has lost all her points, Priyanka starts interrogating Lopa, even warning her that she will give her a tough time if it’s revealed that she has hidden it. And, changing the game altogether, Gaurav helps Priyanka by telling her about the spot where Lopa has hidden her points. Annoyed with Gaurav, Lopa lashes out at him.
Rohan and Rahul give their points to Lopamudra to save her
Even Rahul gets upset with Gaurav and blames him for giving too much power to Priyanka. Upset with the turn of events, Lopa confesses to Rohan that she was hoping to become the captain, but lost because of Gaurav. Priyanka threatens to put Lopa in jail because she doesn’t have any points left. And, to save her, Rahul and Rohan give Lopa some of their points.
Nisha’s parents accuses Ishita(Divyanka Tripathi) of not supporting their daughter. Ishita tries to make them understand that she didn’t meet their daughter. Raman (Karan Patel) asks her not to give explanation as their lawyer will talk to them. They show them Ishita’s check-in details and tell them that she is lying. She denies meeting Nisha at her clinic. Karan says the documents are false. Nisha’s father starts badmouthing their family. Raman gets angry. Abhishek (Vivek Dahiya) asks him to calm down. Police takes Ishita inside.
Abhishek asks Vidyut to leave. But he says he wants to say. Raman pleads Abhishek to let him meet Ishita. They meet each other and discuss the matter. Abhishek calls them outside. Raman and Ishita start shouting at Abhishek for believing that Ishita can do something like this. Abhishek says there is an eyewitness who has given a statement that Ishita was dating Vidyut. They ask who is the eye witness. Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) enters. She says she has seen them roaming with each other in Adelaide, Australia. She adds that she even saw them discussing about Nisha. Vidyut comes. Shagun tells the inspector that he fooled her too. Abhishek asks Vidyut if what she is saying is true. He says he fooled her but it was for a reason. Shagun asserts that it his habit to fool beautiful women and she is sure that he and Ishita are behind Nisha’s murder.
Nisha’s parents ask the inspector if he needs any more proof. Inspector asks Ishita to go inside. Raman calls Romi (Aly Goni) and asks him to get Ishita’s bail anyhow.
Ruhi (Aditi Bhatia) tries calling Abhi but doesn’t get through. Sohail offers her a lift. Ruhi reaches home and asks Santoshi about Ishima. Santoshi tells her that she has gone out for some important work. Aaliya consoles Santoshi. Ruhi reaches the police station and starts asking about Ishita. Raman consoles her and asks her to stay strong.
Music composer Rajesh Roshan is quite fond of his nephew, Hrithik Roshan, and ekes out some of his best compositions for Roshan Jr. even since the latter made his lead debut with Kaho Na…Pyaar Hai. Kaabil is directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Rakesh Roshan. The fifth season of Karan Johar‘s popular chat show Koffee With Karan kickstarted on a great note with Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan. While in one episode Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna bowled us with their crazy humour and tongue-in-cheek remarks, in another Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor gave us gossip stories to indulge on for the rest of the year. In the course of just five episodes, the chat show doled out some crazy stuff. Although we all are convinced that this is the best season that KWK has seen, host KJo feels otherwise. He feels that unlike other seasons, the celeb guests have been much more guarded and conscious about their opinions this year.
Karan, who is all set to judge musical show ‘Dil Hai Hindustani’ with Shalmali Kholgade, Shekhar Ravjiani rapper Badshah, said at the launch, “Celebrities are speaking much lesser this season because they are so aware that there is some ‘.com’ sitting on their heads, which is literally uploading and hanging on to every word they say.All the celebrities are coming guarded this time because everything they say becomes a headline, which may be great for the show but not always great for them,” the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ director told ANI.
Karan insisted that the show is meant for a casual watch and that everything said in the show should not be taken seriously.”Not every word should be whacked or over-analysed. At times people interpret things seriously or in different way but it shouldn’t be seen that way. I don’t think anyone sitting on the couch means to offend anyone.”
Further, when asked about his experience of shooting the 100th episode with Salman Khan and his brothers, who are going to appear on the show this weekend, Karan said, “I was most excited as he (Salman) came for the 100th episode. It was ‘Koffee’ century. He came with his brothers. It was an amazing episode and you should watch it.”

When Ranbir Kapoor said he wants Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone to make awesome babies together!
Ranbir Kapoor of course went first and spoke of how it was many years back that he was involved with Deepika. But he also made a rather candid comment about Ranveer and Deepika’s special relationship. The Jagga Jasoos actor said, “I’ve hung out with them. They have an amazing creative partnership on screen. Yesterday, before releasing the new poster of Raees, Shah Rukh Khan shared a portion of it which sees him wearing a locket. He said that it is an important memoir concerning his parents. He had written, “New poster out tonight. This is my personal locket with my parents pic in it.” Later the poster released and we saw the full image. Now we have found a picture which shows the insides of the locket. His parents’ pics adorn it. The locket was strung on a golden chain which looked killer on Miyan bhai in the poster from Raees. But it didn’t show what was inside. We only had the actor’s words to believe that it is very dear to him as it has his parents’ pics. Today, during the trailer launch of the film, he opened the locket for his fans to reveal the images of his parents. It’s so heartening to see the way Shah Rukh likes to keep his late parents close to him always. He has always spoken about his mother and father during interviews and was very close to them.
Shah Rukh has always mentioned how much he misses his parents. Once he had even tweeted saying, “Talking to boys on the sets…we talked of our parents. Miss my parents now on the drive back from the shoot. They went too early…” It will definitely stir something in you. In fact, during a press interaction he had revealed how much he misses his father. During the last days of his life, SRK’s father was unable to speak because of Cancer. Whatever he wanted to say, he used to write it down. So he has those notebooks which remind the actor about his father. Did you know even Shah Rukh Khan’s parents had a love marriage and their story is as inspiring as his. The Hindu had reported that SRK’s father Taj Mohammed saved his mother Lateef Fatima Khan after she met with a fatal accident by donating his blood. Actress Katrina Kaif says that educated women largely remain quiet about marital rape as a majority of Indian society doesn’t recognise it as a crime.
Katrina spoke about the issue on Tuesday at the ‘WeUnite’ conference, which marks UN Women’s partnership with the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Katrina said, “I know of educated women who remain silent in the face of violence because they are afraid to confront societal norms and have fingers pointed in their own direction, especially when the majority of our society fails to recognise marital rape as a crime.”

“The world has largely been led by patriarchal societies and women have, through the years, largely remained quiet in the face of atrocities rather than speaking out against them,” she added.
“On a daily basis, there is a shocking story in media, there is a violent crime committed against women. I can only imagine how many crimes against women go unrecorded,” she said.
However, Katrina thinks the issue is prevalent not only in India.
“No region of the world, no country, no culture is there in which women’s freedom from violence has been secured.”
“I would urge more women to speak up. It is not okay to feel inferior or weak because we are not the weaker sex by any stretch of the imagination,” she added.
Actress Anushka Sharma, whose film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was embroiled in controversy as it starred Pakistani actor Fawad Khan when relations between India and Pakistan nose-dived, termed the issue “insignificant” as a “soldier fighting on the border doesn’t care which film is being released or not”.
Present at the ‘Agenda Aaj Tak’ on Tuesday, Anushka, whose father is in the army, said that she had experienced this at home. “I know what a soldier’s family feels. I have seen the tension at home and have felt it.”
“My father was in infantry. Today when ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ problem happened on Fawad Khan… At that time I understood the sentiment but the person who is fighting on the border doesn’t care which film is being released or not.”

Now that Raees too will be arriving on the same day with the only difference being it’ll be a regular release and not like Kaabil which is aiming for an evening release. We saw how Ali Zafar was ignored in the promotions of Dear Zindagi, despite having sufficient screen time (at least more than Angad Bedi’s, who just had two scenes and yet had found berth for himself in the promotions), following the anti-Pakistani sentiment that’s going on. So we were worried whether the same fate would befell Mahira as well. But our worries were misplaced as the trailer gives her ample screen time. She even has a very cute romantic scene with Shah Rukh Khan, that you have to watch out for.

Aditya Roy Kapur has moved on after his breakup with Shraddha Kapoor. He is said to be dating international celebrity hair and make-up artist Marianna Mukuchyan.

The BB Taxi Stand task – Clearing all the anticipations, Bigg Boss introduces the luxury budget task BB Taxi Stand. According to the task, Manveer Gurjar and Bani J are the taxi drivers, who will help the housemates to travel from one place to the other. While they will collect moolah from the passengers for the journey, Priyanka Jagga is given the responsibility of a traffic police as well as the sanchalak. Each housemate is allotted 2000 points to spend on their travel and pay fine or toll charge. Priyanka and the drivers have to make sure that they collect maximum amount while the housemates have to negotiate and save their points to become the contenders for captaincy.
Jason Shah and Priyanka’s argument – As the task begins, Priyanka targets Jason and forces him to pay a fine for speaking in English. Jason tells her not to mess around with him and also threats her by saying that he won’t pay a single rupee as fine. On the other hand, Lopamudra Raut promises Manveer that she would only travel in his taxi as she wants him to win. After Bigg Boss warns Jason for the third time to wear his mic, Priyanka asks Jason to pay a fine of Rs. 500. Jason pokes fun at Priyanka and pays money by saying “Jitne bhi chahiye le lo but aur jao“. When Mona notices this, she tells Priyanka that she needs to have a stern face as the housemates will not take her seriously. Justifying her point, Priyanka tells her that Jason was distracting her by showing off his chiseled body.
Om Swami pees in the open – In the evening, Lopa gets into a fight with Priyanka after she forcefully tries to pull out money from Lopa’s pouch. Om Swami, on the other hand, asks Bani and Manveer to take him to the washroom in Rs. 50 otherwise he will pee in the mug. Disgusted with his behavior, all the housemates tell him to move out of the kitchen area after he takes a leak in the mug. Furthermore, Priyanka forces Rohan to pay a fine for not using the taxi and being stationed in the washroom are for the entire day. However, Rohan refuses to follow Priyanka’s instructions and says that he won’t pay a penny. Priyanka tries to get her hands on Rohan’s money by pulling it out from his coat. As a result, they both get into a scuffle and the whole house gets involved.
All in all, last night’s episode of Bigg Boss 10 was fun, but not very entertaining, which is why we give it a Garam on our Masala Meter.
Popularly known for his role in Game of Thrones, Peter Vaughan, who played Maester Aemon in the HBO series breathed his last today. He was 93. An official statement about the demise of the British actor has been passed in which his agent Sally Long-Innes has said, “This is to confirm that very sadly Peter Vaughan passed away at approximately 10.30 this morning. He died peacefully with his family around him.” Peter Dinklage a.k.a Tyrion Lannister from GOT took to Twitter to express his views and thoughts about the sad demise of his co-actor. “Peter Vaughan who played Maester Aemon on Game of Thrones has passed away at the age of 93. Peter, who played Jon Snow’s blind, scholarly mentor Maester Aemon Targareyan in Game of Thrones, started with his acting career way back in the 1950s. He became a well-known face in the Hollywood industry where he was seen playing primarily supporting roles on television, in films and radio.Apart from Game of Thrones, Vaughan is known for his role in Porridge where he played Harry Grout, the villain. Even though he appeared for only a couple of episodes, his performance was pretty impressive. His other works include Citizen Smith, The Remains of the Day, Our Friends in the North and Straw Dogs.

A few hours ago, Shah Rukh Khan has promised us that he will release a new poster of Raees, ahead of the trailer launch that is happening tomorrow. Since the moment we had seen that exciting teaser of the movie, nearly one and a half year ago, we are just waiting for any tidbit to get about Raees, and be happy with it.
