Ever since they have returned from the Dream Team tour, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, without wasting any time, have kick started the shoot of Badrinath Ki Dulhania. This is going to be their third film together after Student of The Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and what’s interesting is that they have already signed their fourth film together too! And why not? They look just so cute together that you would just want to Baar Baar Dekho them! The shoot of Badrinath Ki Dulhania is going on in full swing and there is a latest addition to the cast. No, it’s not a Bollywood actor. It is someone who will steal Alia and Varun’s thunder in the film..Any guesses, guys?

Well, it’s a Beagle!! Yes, we are going to see a cute little dog who will also be seen in the movie.

The Badlapur actor took to Twitter to share with fans a pic of his ‘new co-star’ and he looks totally adorbs! “Some new co stars and some old ones #badrinathkidhulaniya,” Varun captioned the pic.

After the Dream Team tour, Alia and Varun stayed back in the US for an ad shoot while the others came back to Mumbai. After the hectic schedule, they have now begun the first schedule o the film.

Produced under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Badrinath Ki Dulhania is not the sequel to Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, which was released in 2014, but is a second instalment of the movie. The plot revolves around a guy named Badrinath and his love interest played by Alia. What happens in their lives and how things follow, forms the crux of the story.

After this, Varun will next be seen in Judwaa 2 and Alia will be seen with Shah Rukh Khan in Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi.  

A Shashank Khaitan directorial, Badrinath Ki Dulhania will release on March 10, 2017.

Salman Khan to marry girlfriend Iulia Vantur on November 18 this year?

Salman has always been extremely close to his parents (Salim and Salma Khan) and hence, he wants to get married on their wedding anniversary.

And so, they are speculating that Salman might prevent this from happening by marrying her!

A source from Salman’s recent party also revealed to the tabloid, “He (Salman Khan) further stated that it will be a quiet ceremony and only 15-20 people will be present for the nuptials. At the party too, it was evident that not just Salman but even his family adores Iulia.”

The old people can look after the dogs and the dogs can look after the old people.” In July 2014, Sharma adopted a homeless dog and named him ‘Zanjeer’. Zanjeer, a retired police dog from Mumbai, is a Labrador who has made appearances on CNWK and social media quite often. Sharma is also campaigning to save tortured elephants across the country.

Arijit Singh observed Ranbir Kapoor to croon Ae Dil Hai Mushkil title track

Here’s what Arijit has to say about Ae Dil Hai Mushkil…

With the latest song from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil becoming a rage, singer Arijit Singh says he crooned the number after carefully observing the mannerisms of Ranbir Kapoor in the video already shot for the track.

The title song, composed by Pritam, forms the basis of the 1.33-min teaser of the Karan Johar-directed romantic drama. It opens with the Tamasha star lip-syncing the track, penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

The Tum Hi Ho hitmaker says since Ranbir had already shot the video of the song, he had to observe his body language to sing in that particular style. “This is going to be really interesting because this was perhaps the first time where I had to sing while looking at the actor. He (Ranbir) had already performed on that song.

“So I had to call for the video, watch the reflexes and match him. That was a very good experience for me,” Arijit told a news portal.

This is the first time that Arijit has lent his voice to a Karan Johar-directed film. The 29-year-old singer is all praise for the “killer song” and feels Johar has a “terrific music sense” which is reflected in all his films.

Though he has sung several chartbusters for various Bollywood stars, Arijit says he never has the habit of asking for which film he is singing and for whom. “I never ask for the film, who is acting, because I have never seen this (process). When I used to assist, we were given situations, songs used to be done and somebody used to shoot it,” he said.

“So, I am habitual like that. I just never ask. All I know is I have to do proper justice to the song, then someone will perform it on shoot. So it is his responsibility.”

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, also starring Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan, is scheduled to release this Diwali.

Earlier, talking about his song being ditched from Sultan the singer said “Of course, I was sad. Not because I couldn’t be a part of ‘Sultan’, but the song is really very good. How Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has sounded in that song, there is no doubt about it,” he said.

“That song will obviously make me feel sad every time I will think about it. But no issues, I’ll move on. When the song was released, I was singing it throughout. It is such a nice song. It is very rare that songs like these are made,” he added.

The singer, meanwhile, has crooned three songs in Emraan Hashmi starrer “Raaz Reboot” and is excited about it.

Rakesh Roshan is currently writing the story of Krrish 4 and guess who’s helping him with it — his grandsons 10-year-old Hrehaan and eight-year-old Hridhaan! The two children have been actively participating in the developments of the storyline, which revolves around the adventures of superhero Krrish (Hrithik Roshan).

Rakesh Roshan, Honey Irani, Robin Bhatt, Sachin Bhowmick and Akash Khurana, who have all written for the earlier installments in the franchise — Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish and Krrish 3 — are on board for the next, Krrish 4, which Roshan Sr plans to launch next year.

Says a source, “Rakesh likes to make his films stylistically, as close to Hollywood as possible. He was the first to develop Krrish as a superhero franchise, but today, superheroes are no longer as simple as they used to be. His grandsons —Hrehaan and Hridhaan — are huge fans of science fiction and action movies like Batman vs Superman, The Jungle Book, Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man, etc. They are not just computer-savvy, but also know what they like. So whenever he sits down to write, he calls them over and they have brainstorming sessions over the story. The children fill him in on what’s new, what’s hot, what’s not, etc. The filmmaker knows that by the time the film releases, more developments would have taken place, so he wants to be well-equipped. The children state their minds clearly and Rakesh incorporates their vision into his story.”

Rakesh Roshan had revealed in 2013 that he would soon start working on Krrish 4 and had promised to include some sidekick characters in the upcoming film. Buzz is, Krrish 3 villain Kaal (Vivek Oberoi) will make his comeback in the film.

Hrithik Roshan is a pretty doting father. We’ve seen the way he absolutely adores spending time with his sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan. In fact, the Mohenjo Daro star makes it a point to takes a relaxing break in between projects so he can enjoy some family time with them. And the vacay getaways have become a regular for the Roshans. Priyanka Chopra releases first poster and songs of her first Marathi production Ventilator

Priyanka’s Marathi dramedy seems interesting from the songs and poster…

After her success with Bhojpuri cinema, Priyanka Chopra to make a mark in Marathi film industry. The actress’s porcution house Purple Pebble Pictures  is coming out with a Marathi film titled Ventilator. The actress took to her social media platforms today to release not just the first poster of the film, but also two songs from the film’s album. The songs are in the spirit of Ganpati Festival, which is just around the corner, so there could not have been a better timing for the release.

Ventilator has been written and  directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, who has previously helmed the Sharman Joshi starrer film Ferrari Ki Sawaari. Ferrari Ki Sawaari was an wholesome family entertainer and was loved by family audiences. Ventilator’s tagline on teh first poster also reads “Fun. Family. Festival.” so we can be sure that another family entertainer is on its way. We see electrocardiogram of a heartbeat in the background, that forms the outline of Lord Ganesha’s face, so we can assume Ganpati and Hospital play an important role in this film. And that is about everything that the first poster reveals to us.

The songs released are titled Ya Re Ya and Jai Deva. Both songs have been composed by Rohan and lyrics are penned by Manoj Yadav. Both are in honour of Lord Ganesha, and while Ya Re Ya is more of a subtle and soft number, like a prayer, Jai Deva is more on the lines of celebratory and festive spirit of Ganpati Chaturthi. Certainly great numbers to listen to. Waiting for the videos now, so that these songs can find a mention in Bollywoodlife’s weekly Trending Tunes.

There were also reports that Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra,  was going to make her acting debut in the Marathi film with a cameo. Though it turned out to be a mere rumour later, as sources close to the Chopra family debunked the news.

There are also rumours floating that PeeCee will be  crooning a song for her production venture. A source close to the film revealed this to popular daily, Mumbai Mirror. He said, “Priyanka is looking forward to recording the song, however, she is yet to zero down on the track she will sing. It is most likely to be used as a promotional track but could be included in the narrative too. She’s currently working out dates for the recording as well as the rehearsals.” Though the two songs that have been released are missing Priyanka as a singer, we are looking forward for the release of other songs. Fingers crossed, that this comes out to be true. Priyanka has proved her mettle as a singer in the West. She has released single like Exotic ft. Pitbull and In My City, that were loved by everyone.

Priyanka production house Purple Pebble Pictures (PPP) has a slate of three films — one each in Bhojpuri, Marathi and Punjabi — which will release this year. Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi (Bhojpuri), Ventilator (Marathi) and Ek Onkar (Punjabi) are the titles out of which the first has been released and received good response. Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi also courted controversy when many, including actress Neetu Chandra, raised objections that PeeCee’s film is fixating on Bhojpuri cinema stereotypes.

“Today, entertainment has a wide canvas which is not restricted by language or medium. At Purple Pebble Pictures, we are aspiring to erase boundaries and create an environment where the content/story is the hero,” Priyanka, founder, talent samurai and chief troublemaker at PPP, said in a statement earlier, around the release of B3RHK.

Written and directed by Santosh Mishra, Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi was a love story which featured Nirahau and Amrapali Dubey; and  Ek Onkar, written by Ambardeep Singh and directed by Karan Guliani, is a coming-of-age story of a young NRI returning to find his roots.

The director who is gearing up for Sonakshi Sinha’s Akira met Aamir and here’s what happened…

Actor Aamir Khan may team up with with director A R Murgadoss again after their last outing Ghajini. Murgadoss says he recently met the actor and they discussed about a possible collaboration in future.

“Aamir sir invests a lot a time in each project to deliver great cinema. I am also involved in projects down south and here. So, the timing is just not right,” Murugadoss said. “I recently met him and requested that we should do a film together as it has been so long. He has also agreed, if the dates fall in place. I will definitely do a film with him in future,” he said.

The Akira director is now looking forward to Aamir’s performance in the upcoming biopic Dangal where the actor portrays wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters.

“I saw the first look of Dangal. He had shaped his body really well in Ghajini and then again in Dhoom 3. Again I saw his young look with six packs that was released recently.”

When Murgadoss had met Aamir recently, he was in the get-up of the aged wrestler and the director thought it would be an uphill task for the actor to shed those extra pounds.

“He was in the old get-up with lot of body weight and I thought to myself that he can never come back to shape again but to my surprise I saw his young look for Dangal. I was shocked. I think only Aamir sir can pull off something like this with his grit and determination.”

Murgadoss is hopeful that like Aamir’s previous films, Dangal will also be a huge box office hit. “I have no doubts that this movie will succeed and cross his (previous) milestone,” he added.

Aamir, recently, said he was not keen on pursuing a career in the west and also revealed he was offered Hollywood movies in the past but he did not like the scripts. “Working in the west doesn’t interest me particularly. what interests me is a good film. It should be a film that touches my heart and I feel I can perform in. Where the film is made is irrelevant. There have been number of offers to me from Hollywood but I did not like the scripts.”

The 3 Idiots star also said doing international projects will not give him the same joy, which he gets when his work is received well by the Indian audience. “Why i don’t feel like doing that (work in the west) is because I feel I have an emotional connection with my audience, with the people of this country. It is a relationship that we have built over 27 years, something that I value a lot. I don’t want to leave my audience behind.

5 reasons why Bollywood studios are in complete loss despite casting a Hrithik Roshan or a Ranbir Kapoor!

Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro was one of the biggest flops of the industry this year. The Ashutosh Gowariker directorial had a huge budget thanks to involving a huge star in Hrithik Roshan and the money involved in the productions costs, and failed to recover enough to make a profit.

This also lead UTV, one of the studios, involved in the film’s financing, in the brink of bankruptcy. Disney has threatened to shut shop, which is likely to happen anytime soon. UTV Motion Pictures, a subsidiary of Disney, will close down soon if the buzz is to be believed.

So what happened here? How come a movie production house with so much money and international banking go bankrupt with the failure of just one film?

Well, the matter is not just about one film or one studios. As per an article in popular website, Quint, the issue is far deeper and darker. Not just UTV Motion Pictures, many other corporate studios like Studio18, PVR Pictures, Phantom Films, Reliance Entertainment already on the process of closing down. However, the writer of the article A Krishna, revealed that family owned businesses like YRF, Dharma Productions and Vishesh Films are working well.

Here are five reasons why he believes why corporate studios are running into losses.

# Studio Heads are not creatively inclined

Most of the studio heads in these corporate fields are not any film directors or producers, or have any sort of film inclination. They are just a high profile business management graduates, who are more interested in the studios minting money than them investing in good cinema. In short, theses are people who believe stars bring money, and not a story.

# Treating films like commodities

Another interesting point that A Krishna pointed out is that most of the movies are seen by the studios as a star vehicle than a proper cinema. So you will have a Salman Khan film or an Akshay Kumar flick, but they are not exactly seen cinema in whole. For these studios, they are just another product of a Fast Moving Consumer Good. They are not interested in the plot of other technical values of the film, just which star they have roped in. So you know whom to blame if you get a movie like Bombay Velvet, Jai Ho, Gabbar is Back or Kites.

# Don’t have the talent to spot talent

Many studios give new talent opportunities to begin with, both as actors or on technical terms like directors. However, how many of them actually are successful in their endeavours or are talented enough to make good films or be good actors? It’s mostly the family owned productions houses, headed by creative people like Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra, that do a good job at this as they know who can work in the long run. So you have directors like Shakun Batra, Kabir Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar etc. being groomed into being the high profile directors they are now. As for most of the talent chosen by corporate studios, they mostly turn out to be yes-men who answers to their master’s call and make films by the numbers.

# Paying a high cost to non-deserving films

Remember that film, Bangistaan? This film starring Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat, and directed by debutant Karan Anshuman, was bought by Junglee Pictures, who reportedly paid Excel Entertainment Rs 35 crore along with Dil Dhadakne Do in a 2-film deal. Bangistaan just made Rs 5 crore at the box office, running huge losses for the buyer. That’s one example of how studios look to buying glossy looking film at a high price, but earn very low returns on it. This also happen in successful films like Baaghi, which was bought by Disney UTV from Sajid Nadiadwala, but only UTV earned only 10% of the revenue.

When a film does bad business, the first thing that most of these corporate studios do, is blame the CEO and get him sacked. This negative approach actually lowers the morale of the people working there and also make the outsiders lose trust in the company. He teases her that he has written it for his boyfriend. She says she doesn’t have a boyfriend. She says he writes for herself. He praises her for her writing and says he would have hired her as a lyricist but her writing is of old style. She says she writes for herself and she likes it that way only. He asks how can she be his fan if her taste is so different. He says she became his fam because of his good looks. She refuses.

Aaliya sees Abhi with a girl. She tries to run towards them but she bumps into another girl. Abhi refuses to return Pragya her poem and starts playing a game. She falls and Abhi holds her. She says he did it intentionally. He says he will give her something in return for the poem and gives her his hat. Pragya refuses to take it and leaves.

Sarla cries and gets worried for Pragya. Beeji consoles her and asks her to stay hopeful. Sarla says she can’t leave everything on God, she will have to take things in her hand. She says she can’t let Aaliya ruin her daughter’s life. She says she can’t let her meet Abhi. Beeji tries to explain her that she should only be concerned about Pragya’s happiness. She says she should let her meet Abhi as it makes her happy.

The case that was inspired from real life events was a challenge since the subject was sensitive

Akshay Kumar starrer Rustom has emerged hands down winner against Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro and the director’s smile has no limits. Neeraj Pandey who has earlier worked with Akshay in Special 26 and Baby considers him as his lucky charm.Probably this is the reason why the duo will team up again for Crack which will release next year.

Ask the director about how happy he is with the success and he replies,”Unusual plot of Rustom has yielded results beyond the team’s expectations  and I am happy they took the risk of making the movie on instinct. I think many factors contributed to the success of Rustom. But we never thought it would go this far. I’ve to admit the success of Rustom has surpassed all our expectations. Though inspired by a real incident, we made sure there was enough drama and emotions in the telling of the story to keep the audience hooked.”

Featuring Akshay Kumar, Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta in a tale inspired by the real life K.M. Nanavati case, the movie was appreciated by critics and audiences alike. Pandey admits making the movie was a big risk. According to him,”It was a subject on infidelity and not too many films have been attempted on that. We were aware of that. When Tinu Suresh Desai came to us with the subject, I was sure we wanted to do it.”

Talking about his instinct, the director maintains that,”I’ve always gone by instinct. And Tinu Desai has worked with me earlier. He had assisted me on my directorial venture ‘Special 26’, so I knew what he was capable of. The rest is just plain instinct. You have to take risks if you want to get the audience interested.”

Akshay’s participation clinched the matter for Pandey, who produced the movie. He recalls that,”When I had an actor of Akshay’s stature on board, everything else just fell in place. I don’t think we could have made this kind of an impact without him. He persuades audiences to believe in his cinema.”

Pandey and Akshay have collaborated on two films “Special 26” and “Baby” earlier. They are about to collaborate on a third directorial project Crack but he is a bit reluctant to say anything about it.  He suggests that,”At the moment I am not in a position to say anything about our next film ‘Crack’. We have an idea. And we have a release date, Independence Day 2017.  Yes, we shoot for ‘Crack’ from the end of January 2017 to the end of March 2017.Beyond that, there is nothing at the moment. We are yet to decide anything about Crack.”

Akshay’s collaboration with him is based on mutual trust. He will never wonder if the director’s idea will work. Similarly Neeraj  will never wonder if he would fit into his scheme of things.

The Lakme Fashion Week 2016 was a rather star-studded affair with Bollywood’s leading ladies taking over the stage as stowstoppers. Actress Priyanka Chopra, who is shooting for American TV series “Quantico” in New York, has quashed rumours that she is shifting her base to Los Angeles, saying Mumbai is her home.

With her career in the West going in the right direction, media reports mentioned that Priyanka was planing to shift to Los Angeles. The amused actress took to Twitter to set the record straight.

“I really wake up to such amusing news sometimes. I am filming ‘Quantico’ in NYC (New York City)… My home is Mumbai. No LA in the pic!”.

After making waves internationally with her musical talent, the actress took the small screen route to Hollywood. She made her international TV debut as an FBI agent in “Quantico” last year.

Now, with the series heading towards its second season, Priyanka will be seen portraying the role of a CIA agent. The first season of “Quantico” is being telecast in India on Star World and Star World HD.

The former beauty queen will also be seen as a guest judge for season 15 of American TV series “Project Runway”, hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum.

Priyanka will join the series as one of the few guest judges on the show, which will air from September. The show focuses on budding designers who are given an opportunity to create a collection for New York Fashion Week.

She will also make her Hollywood debt in a negative role in “Baywatch” — the big screen version of the globally popular TV series featuring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.

Akshay Kumar who will be next seen in  Subhash Kapoor’s Jolly LLB 2 has begun work on the second schedule of the movie in Lucknow. The actor who was pretty busy with Rustom promotions has resumed the shoot of his next with Huma Qureshi.

Akshay tweeted this picture with Huma at Lucknow station hinting at the fact the actors have started shooting for their second schedule and are having a gala time together, Lucknow which is known as the city of Nawabs is probably the reason why the actors are posing in the trademark ‘aadab’ pose for each other. A look at Akshay and you can make out how happy the star is from his recent success at the box office. The movie that released three weeks backs is still going great at the theatres with an increase in the show’s timings.

Jolly LLB 2 which is a second installment to 2013 courtroom drama Jolly LLB, will see Akshay replacing Arshad and Huma replacing Amrita Rao. In the movie, you will see Akshay pitted against Annu Kapoor who plays a lawyer. With a release date of February 2017, Akshay seems to follow a pattern to appear twice or thrice in a year by default. This year too, we saw him in Airlift, Housefull 3 and Rustom. News is that the actor might have a special role in Sonakshi Sinha starrer Akira. As for next year, he has Jolly LLB 2, Toilet- Ek Prem Katha and Crack in his kitty. This Khiladi is literally ruling Bollywood currently.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil: Karan Johar REVEALS details about Ranbir, Aishwarya and Anushka's characters in the film

We bet that for past 1 day your news feed on social media platforms is flooding with talks of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The teaser for the Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma starrer film was released yesterday and it managed to steal everyone’s hearts. Not much was revealed about the plot or the characters in the short teaser, but it did reveal that the film is going to be one musical and good looking one. Talking to Reddif, film’s director Karan Johar revealed many details about the film including attributes of Aishwarya, Ranbir and Anushka’s characters.

Talking about the female characters in the ADHM the ace filmmaker said “They’re complicated, without saying too much. And they are immensely progressive characters. I know that Aishwarya has never, ever played a part like this. She plays a poet who isn’t a very good poet, and so she is aware that she isn’t as respected in her community of poets. This is partly because she is too beautiful to be taken seriously and because she isn’t a great poet. She comes from a situation of heartbreak herself.” Aishwarya, a poet? Well her eyes are potery enough for fans! Aren’t they?

Earlier its disclosed that Anushka’s character is named Alizeh. Now divulging more details about Alizeh, Karan says “Anushka comes from a dysfunctional family. Everyone has a broken hearted situation in some way. I have to say, though, that they are both incredibly strong and complex women characters, while being completely different in terms of character goals.”

We revealed to you that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was previously titled Ae Dil. Karan also talked about the name change in the interview. He said “A troubled heart was my working title when I started the film. We then changed it to Ae Dil and it didn’t quite work but Ae Dil Hai Mushkil captures the feeling beautifully.” Karan had changed his mind about the title after listening to the title track of the film that has been composed by Pritam. He loved it so much that he decided to go with the full title.

The title is derived from the lyrics of a very popular classic song from the 1956 film CID. The movie starred Dev Anand, Waheeda Rahman, and Johnny Walker. Walker had the title track picturised on him in it and it’s lyrics  were “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil jeena yahan, zara hat ke, zara bach ke, yeh hai Bombay meri jaan” Talking about the same Karan Johar said “I agree Bombay is a strong part of the original song, but hopefully the new title song will go some way in changing that perception and letting people look at this film differently.”

Also you know what? Ranbir’s character is inspired by Karan himself. “I told Ranbir that on some level, in some way, you are playing me” Karan said in the interview. He derives the story from his own experience with heartbreak. “Normally I make films through observations that I filter through a dramatic, a cinematic palette. Not this time. I’ve been in love twice in my life and it’s been unreciprocated both times, and in my head I feel that I’m the brand ambassador of heartbreak,” he further added.

Ranbir put all speculations to rest

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Ranbir Kapoor is out with it’s promo. The intense promo of the film has  impressed us. The love triangle in the movie is not typical kind. On a similar story line of the film Doosra Aadmi there have been a lot of speculations that this movie was inspired from it. But Ranbir said it’s nothing like his father’s film Doosra Aadmi. When we chatted with Ranbir after watching the trailer and said that we were pleasantly surprised, he said, “It’s not like Doosra Aadmiit.? What is Doosra Aadmi about? I haven’t seen it.” Well, now there is no need to.

Meanwhile Karan Johar smiles knowingly every time women and men around him gush about Fawad Khan. He says, “My mom discovered him first. She used to watch his TV show and would always tell me to cast him. I can see the affect he has on all women, beginning with my mom who turns into another person whenever he drops by.” Too sweet. Recently Karan even spoke about how it was necessary to find the perfect actor for this role. He was really glad when Fawad decided to do this role and couldn’t be happier. In a still of the trailer too one can see how Fawad manages to steal the show just with a short scene. We are very excited to see what role Fawad plays in the film. Interestingly, it was Karan Johar who made the guest list for the party. And, considering half of Bollywood is always hanging out in the Dharma office, it took less than an hour to get confirmations.

Hrithik was present!

There has been speculation that Hrithik Roshan was missing from the bash because he had not been invited. However, that is far from the truth. The actor attended the party, but since he lives in the same building as Akshay the paps who were waiting outside the building couldn’t catch him. It was indeed sporting of Hrithik to go the party, given his film Mohenjo Daro had clashed with Rustom.

Sona’s selfie tricks

Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha who are not on talking terms since they broke off after Tevar, were present at the bash. KJo took it upon himself to get the two exes together for a picture. He made them take a selfie, which they did reluctantly. That did break the ice, reveals the insider, but Sona later put up a picture of hers with Akshay and Twinkle on social media, but not the one with Arjun.

Darr 2.o will be revival of the psychological thriller as a five part web series by YFilms. Earlier YFilms has been quite successful with their web series A Man’s World, Ladies Room, Bang Baja Baaraat, Sex Chat with Pappu aur Papa – all of which were comedies. With Darr 2.0, it is a new genre that YFilms will explore. The five-part series aims to hold a mirror to the perilous environment of online privacy invasion and social media harassment that can take a dangerous and disturbing turn, if unchecked.

The teaser trailer of the web series just dropped in and it looks pretty intriguing. Though we don’t get a look at the antagonist, we get a glimpse of how crazy the character is going to be this time. Darr 2.0, will feature the characters of Rahul, Kiran and Sunil from the original but in an entirely new milieu, weaved in a modern, original tale of obsession and fear in the age of cyber stalking and digital crimes. We see the new ‘Rahul’ stalking girls on social media, downloading their pictures. The whole setup and feel of the teaser is VERY CREEPY!

Darr 2.0 has been directed by Vikas Chaitndra, who was an associate creative producer on YRF’s Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. The series has a story by Nikhil Taneja, with screenplay and dialogues written by Shubham Yogi and Taneja. The cast is yet to be announced. We are pretty sure that Shah Rukh is not coming back as Rahul, well he died in Darr…but what if there is somehow a cameo by the actor! What is he was alive? OMG! That would be freakin awesome and will definitely break the internet. Or a cameo by Ranveer Singh would be great as well. We know how big of  a fan of Darr he is. Remember, recently he was holidaying in Switzerland and recreated the popular song Tu Mere Saamne from the film. The video that he posted on social media platforms went crazy viral. Even SRK was super impressed by the young actor’s tribute to him. We wonder what SRK has to say about Darr 2.0

Such is the impact of Darr, that not very long ago, a real life kidnapping in Delhi was reported to be inspired from the plot of the film. Five people were arrested in the abduction case of Snapdeal employee Dipti Sarna, CNN-IBN reported in February 2016. Ghaziabad senior superintendent Dharmendra Singh was quoted in a report in Hindustan Times as saying that the main accused was in a one-sided love affair with Dipti. He even went on to make an analogy to the movie Darr.

If you are a true Priyanka Chopra fan, you must have felt disheartened when, in the morning,  you read in newspapers that the actress might be moving to LA for five whole years, after Quantico season 2. That could have meant no more events in India, no more airport spottings, and no more Bollywood films. Now that is heartbreaking for any fan. But here comes PeeCee swooping in like a superhero, saving the day by refuting the rumours. The Baywatch star took to Twitter to clear the air in a straightforward manner. She wrote “really wake up to such amusing news sometimes.i am filming Quantico in nyc my home is mumbai. No LA in the pic!” So that settles it. Priyanka is still our Desi Girl, and will always be.

A leading tabloid reported had published a report, quoting a source “If all goes well for PC, she will be staying back in LA for the next five years, but it all depends on Quantico 2 and how well it’s received. She has also been getting offers for Bollywood movies, but none have been exciting enough for her to take up. She’s bought an apartment in LA, so she doesn’t have any staying problems too. This will also give Priyanka an opportunity to explore further work in Hollywood as it will save her time flying back-and-forth. Her mother Dr Madhu Chopra will handle PC’s production house in India.” But like Priyanka said, she is shooting for Quantico season 2 in New York right now and not LA. Quantico, is going to premiere in September on ABC.  According to the official synopsis after FBI, Alex Parrish will be recruited for CIA. So that means more thrill. More like C I YAYY.

While there no movie announcement in Bollywood by PeeCee yet, she is all set to sizzle the screen with Baywatch. She is starring in the film remake of the series that stars Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in leading roles. And it is not some cameo, or the usual heroine to the hero role, but the actress will be seen playing the antagonist in the film. Also, the she will be seen as a judge in an episode of Project Runway season 15.

Priyanka was last seen in Bajirao Mastani and Jai Gangaajal in Bollywood. Her acting in both movies got rave reviews. Her supporting role in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali as Kashibai won her several accolades. She starred alongside Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

Udaan full episode 30th August,2016 written update: Imli gets suspicious of Chakor!

Ragini executes her evil plans

The episode starts with Suraj (Vijayendra Kumeria) coming home. He dreams that Imli (Vidhi Pandya) has given birth to a son. He gives a chocolate to him. The boy refuses to accept it. He says he will drop him to school. The boy says he is not his son and that his father’s name is Vivaan (Paras Arora). Ragini interrupts his dream and asks him what is he thinking. Suraj leaves without saying anything.

Chakor (Meera Deosthale) gets Vivaan’s love letter and reads it. She cries and hugs the letter. She then gets reminded of Imli’s words. Chakor thinks whether Vivaan will accept Imli’s love. She recalls a romantic moment that she shared with Vivaan. In the flashback, she tells Vivaan that she is not being able to give enough time to him and she is scared to lose him. She asks him what if another girl snatches him from her. Vivaan says no girl can love him more than her and that he will always love Chakor. She smiles and hugs him. Flashback ends. Chakor tries to convince herself that maybe Chakor and Vivaan were meant to be with each other.

Suraj comes and gives her a knife. Chakor says this is the same knife that can send Imli to jail. She asks him that why has he brought it now. Suraj says he has brought it to return it as he wants to free her. She asks him what does he want  in return. He says he doesn’t want anything. He says he just wants to get peace back in his life. He wants Imli and his son. Chakor scolds her and asks her to forget Imli as she is in love with Vivaan. He gets emotional and starts saying that he wants his family back. Chakor says it can’t happen. Vivaan asks her why can’t. He says now he is freeing her from this forced marriage. He asks her to go back to Vivaan so that he gets back Imli. He asks her to help her. Chakor thinks about Imli’s love for Vivaan. Chakor says this can’t happen as Imli has moved on in life. Suraj takes the knife and leaves angrily saying he will do everything on his own. Ragini over hears their conversation.

Meanwhile Imli does preparations to give Vivaan a surprise. Ragini encourages her and says she is excited. Ragini goes and tells Vivaan that Chakor still loves him. He says Chakor has already told him that he doesn’t love him anymore nd just loves Suraj. He says he is happy with Imli. Ragini says Chakor is jealous of him and Imli. He asks her not to worry.

Imli comes and asks him about the cradle. Bijli comes and says someone has set the cradle on fire. Vivaan and Imli get shocked and rush to the stable. They cry seeing the cradle burning.

Ragini goes and tells Chakor about the incident. She rushes to the stable. Imli gets Chakor’s ring near the cradle. Chakor comes and says this is my ring and asks how did it come here. Imli asks the same.

Priya Malik has a fitting reply for Censor Board's 'no bra' stand against Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra's Baar Baar Dekho

The Censor Board wanted a scene showing a bra and a mention of Savita Bhabhi deleted

Baar Baar Dekho got a new kind of publicity, something it would have never expected, thanks to our desi sanskaari Censor Board.

The Pahlaj Nihalani-led examining committee had asked the makers of Baar Baar Dekho to deleted two scenes from the film, that you would have thought harmless.

There was a scene where a bra is shown which the Censor Board found very offensive for some reason. Another scene was the mention of Savita Bhabhi in a dialogue, which got the CBFC irked. Savita Bhabhi is a hugely popular porn character, and our moral committee of movies doesn’t want the ignorant among us to know who this special lady is.

So again Censor Board got to everyone’s bad side, thanks to their determined mission to make our country as pure as Pahlaj Nihalani’s love for A Flying Jatt.

Ex-Bigg Boss contestant, Priya Malik had the fitting reply to Censor Board’s stance on not wanting the world to see a woman’s lingerie lying around (Censor Board had previously asked the makers of Kangana Ranaut’s Queen to blur a scene in the film where a bra is shown). She posted a pic on Instagram which was her protest against their decision with a tag like this “Because wearing a visible #bra would be indecent. #FreeTheNipple.

She also spoke about why she put up the pic, “Yesterday was the day when a bra scene got banned from a film, a temple in Ujjain asked girls to not wear jeans to the temple and the Foreign Minister suggested women tourists to not wear skirts in India. Hello, 2016! Those who consider the sight of a woman’s bra offensive are the same ones who’d consider me going braless offensive too. That’s society for you. My body. My choice. Who put the boo in boobs?”

While we are in support of what Priya did, we are not sure if the Censor Board will ever get her message.

Shah Rukh Khan is right now in Prague shooting for his next with Imitiaz Ali starring Anushka Sharma. Apart from filming one thing that has kept him hooked is the Pokémon Go game. Yep! The actor is totally obsessed with the game and how. Earlier too, he had spoken about his craziness for the Pokémon Go and we have even enjoyed it. But now the world has forgotten about it rather have moved on, so we to feel that SRK should take a break from it and initiate his new interest in some other game. Well why we are saying so. Just a while back the actor tweeted saying, “Some days you get Dratini and others r like chai without cheeni….”.

Shah Rukh recently bought storm on social media with his dashing appearance in Prague and he is nailing it on the shoot,. The actor who is majorly active on twitter keeps on posting us the daily updates about the shoot as well. Apart from Imitiaz Ali’s next, the actor also has Aanand L Rai’s next directorial. And there are rumours that Deepika Padukone and Parineeti Chopra will be playing the leading ladies in the film. Also the actor is awaiting the release of two major films – Dear Zindagi slated to release this November and Raees with Mahira the next year. No doubt, there will be SRK’s magic everywhere and we are eagerly waiting for it.

Sonakshi Sinha fans are waiting with baited breath for this Friday as her movie Akira will hit the silver screens on September 2. Starring Sonakshi in the lead role, Akira has only her as the main lead in the movie. Unlike other Bollywood films, which has a male and a female lead actor, Akira has Sonakshi as the sole hero of the film and from what it looks like, she is all set to pack a powerful punch! Directed by A.R. Murgadoss, Akira has Sona playing the role of a badass college-going student who is unfazed, unafraid and stands up for what is right. This is Murgadoss’ first ever heroine-centric movie.

To which she said, “Yes, I have done all the action..all the stunts by myself because I wanted it to look more real and convincing.” “The kind of action that I have done in Akira is very raw and slick. It’s something very different from what I have done so far, which is why I chose to do the film, in the first place,” she added.

Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil teaser is a THROWBACK to several of his films!

All the more reason to watch out for this film, right?

Karan Johar can take credit to giving Bollywood some of the best romantic films. And he continues to do so as he releases this new teaser of the much awaited, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. When it comes to a KJo film, we always look forward to some, well, a lot of romance and drama. That’s how he rolls, you see! Hence, Ae Dil also got our interest and we simply couldn’t let our excitement die down till we saw the teaser. But little did we know that this teaser was to put us in more trouble of anticipation of what the film really is about! Good job, KJo! You’ve done it again. We cannot wait to watch how this ensemble cast comprising of Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Fawad Khan and Anushka Sharma, bewilders and mesmerises us at the same time!

If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, we believe you to be slightly daft. However, for all those who have seen it, are you blown away? The filmmaker shared the teaser as he tweeted, “One sided love…deep friendship and heartbreak…. #AeDilHaiMushkil #ADHMTeaser” Well, the tweet itself struck a bell in our heads but we weren’t sure of what it meant until we saw the teaser. It’s easy. We were just going down the throwback road as we saw several of KJo’s past work flash in front of our eyes in the form of this teaser.

We know damn well that Sanjay Leela Bhansali roots for love triangles and unrequited love in his films. Well, if that’s how SLB rolls, then KJo goes for one sided love! While the line of inspiration is the same but it has come to our notice how for him friendship and one sided love is the highlight in all his films. More than that are the exact scenes that are taken straight from his films! We listed down five of Johar’s films that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s teaser reminded us of.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
Of course, Kajol does find her soulmate in the film after an almost compromising marriage, but it was a one sided love for a really long time. Initially, how Kajol is smitten by her best friend Shah Rukh Khan and receives only brozoning in return. Finally he acknowledges her love for him and also in return, falls for her. Apart from this similarity, even a scene i.e. when Anushka drags Ranbir in the film is a lot like how Salman drags Kajol in the climax of K2H2. While it is the other way round, nevertheless, this scene is uncannily the same. Check it out below!

This scene is classic KJo inspired! Well, it is always the lady who turns with a look that is tailored to die for! In a lot of films by KJo, the actress turns her head and that one moment, hearts stop. This scene in Ae Dil’s teaser takes us back to KANK’s Mitwa song where they both don orange jackets and turn around as they switch on their charm! While KANK does speak about one sided love (the one between Rani and Abhishek Bachchan), here in ADHM, we’re still not sure who is afflicted with being the lover in distress. Any guesses?

Surprised? Don’t be. Fawad Khan’s 2 framed presence in the ADHM teaser spoke volumes of how intense and passionate his role is in the film. We even brought to your notice how his killer smile and angry man scene floored us. So yes, a similar scene occured in SOTY where Sidharth Malhotra was on the receiving end of Varun Dhawan’s anger. Who would tolerate watching his girlfriend kiss his best friend, right? So yeah, once again, we’re not sure of the situation where this fight erupts but shit does go down between RK Jr and Mr Khan! Nevertheless, Fawad looks pretty mad while we’re assuming Anushka is trying to stop the brawl.

Kal Ho Na Ho
Ah this one aches my heart. The moment when Preity Zinta finds out that Shah Rukh Khan is a dying man in love with her, she is as heartbroken as Saif Ali Khan is. So of course, to sort this mess and clear it out in the open, SRK runs to meet Saif and Preity separately. That running scene is very emotional. And somehow here as Ranbir runs as if in emergency speaks volumes of some catastrophe he has got to resolve. It’s either that or an epiphany. We got a lot of assumptions flying about but this scene is again, classic KJo! Remember, even in K3G, Khan runs towards home? Running is basically a very essential part of every Dharma film!

And finally, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani
This scene has touched my heart like no other! One part in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani where Ranbir walks away from Deepika Padukone is heart-wrenching but you can feel the pain going in both their heads! I for one, could feel Kapoor’s battle between his ambition, his dreams to that of being together with his ladylove. This particular scene in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s teaser has Ranbir strike the same kind of emotion. You see an overwhelmed Kapoor walk away with tears rolling down his eyes. A scene that instantly takes one back to Yeh Jawani’s Kabira song! Check out the gif below for then you’ll be able to make the reference!
