Bigg Boss 10 is going to witness not one, but four wild card entries this weekend. One of them is Elena Kazan. Born to German parents in Moscow, Russia, Elena is a model-cum-actor. Her mother is a nurse by profession and her father is a teacher of Economics. She spent her childhood in Ukraine before moving to Berlin with her family. At the age of 16, Elena moved to US for higher studies.

Although she is not Indian, she speaks fluent Hindi and there is a story behind it. Before making her foray into entertainment business, she worked with a volunteer organisation in Kolkata. It is during this time that she traveled in India widely and learnt to speak Hindi. Well, that is definitely an advantage for her. During her stint in India, Elena taught German language at Max Mueller Bhavan. Elena got her first break in films while she was working as a unit hand in a short Australian film shot in Kolkata. Her first Bengali movie Clerk was opposite superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee. She also later acted in critically acclaimed Gandhi to Hitler and movies like Agent Vinod, Prague, John Day and Aasma.
