Police nab 6 more people in the Baahubali 2 climax leak case

Just a few days ago it was reported that the graphic designer of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion was arrested for leaking a nine minute long footage of its climax. And now with the help of that same graphic designer Krishna, Police has nabbed six more for circulating the video on social media. Three of them are Engineering students and other three are graduates. Stating his thoughts about the same, producer of the film, Shobu Yarlagadda had tweeted, “It is very unfortunate that a small unfinished video clip of @BaahubaliMovie was leaked online yesterday. The person responsible for the leak was identified with the help of security features in place and was arrested late last night by police and handed over to cyber crime.”

When the footage was leaked and subsequently went viral on social media, producer Shobhu Yarlagadda was quick to take action to remove the video clip in the question from the internet. The clip in question was that of the climax of the film and featured Prabhas, Anushka Shetty among others. In fact, if reports are to be believed then the flash drive obtained by the Police after the arrests also contains scenes from Nagarjuna’s upcoming movie Om Namo Venkatesaya. The maligned designer was working on both the films simultaneously.

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is one of the biggest and most awaited films of all time. In terms of its budget, scale and mostly due the curiosity and hype around century’s biggest mystery- “Why did Katappa killed Baahubali?”. And the answer to that will be known to us in April 2017. Baahubali: The Beginning followed the story of Shiva aka Mahendra Bahubali, son of Amarendra Bahubali and his journey until he finds out who he actually is. It ended with a cliffhanger with Shiva trying to figure out who killed his father, Amarendra Bahubali. The Conclusion will further reveal the reason and will follow the story of Amarendra Baahubali.
