The actress made her debut on television with Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi opposite Shaheer Sheikh and Supriya Pilgaonkar. The actress took to Instagram to announce the news and thanked all her co-stars for their support. She also thanked the channel for accepting the award on her behalf.
Shaheer also congratulated her on Instagram with a cute selfie. Erica and Shaheer are one of the favourite jodis and there were rumours about them dating each other. The two rubbished the rumours saying that they are just good friends who are interested in similar things. In fact, Shaheer had clarified that he is not looking for a relationship and that marriage is a far cry. As far as the show is concerned, it is one of the most unique concepts and the casting suits the plot perfectly. It is about a mother who is very close to her son and has to share him with another woman (his wife) later on.
