Shah Rukh Khan’s film with Anand L Rai is slated to release over Christmas 2018 and now we hear that the official release date of Hollywood flick, Avatar 2 will also be the same.
It is expected to be a tough clash since Avatar had managed to gain immense popularity in India and did a commendable business in the country. Shah Rukh Khan’s film on the other hand is going to be a unique story where Shah Rukh will be seen as a dwarf. Also, it is being touted as Shah Rukh’s costliest film so far since it will require a good amount of VFX.
The buzz for both films is expected to be high. Shah Rukh’s yet untitled film, is yet to finalize on the leading lady too and will be going on the floors next year.
Avatar 2 will be distributed by Fox Star Studios in India. The film is expected to have a wide release and with the holiday spirit of Christmas it will truly be interesting to see how the clash will affect Anand L Rai’s film.
