Ajay Devgn's Shivaay to clash with Kamal Haasan's Viswaroopam 2?

It looks like we are heading for a spectacular clash

Bollywood is already abuzz with Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film Shivaay. The entire movie has been shot in the Balkan mountains in extremely cold conditions and it looks like it will one of the most different films that B-town has ever seen. But it looks like the Ajay Devgn starrer may have some competition from the South.

There is talk that Kamal Haasan’s much delayed Vishwaroopam 2 will finally hit the screens this Diwali. So this means that movie will have a direct clash with Shivaay! However, these are only talks at the moment and the producer of the film Aascar Ravichandran will have the final word. Also, the Ulaganayagan is anxious to release the film and he has said on several occasions that he does not know why his film has been needlessly delayed. So with a little push from Kamal, the Vishwaroopam sequel might actually release this Diwali.

If it does, then it will mean serious competition for Ajay Devgn because the Kamal Haasan starrer will release in Hindi too as Vishwaroop 2, just like its predecessor. There is also an interesting similarity between Shivaay and Vishwaroopam 2. While Ajay Devgn has both acted and directed Shivaay, Kamal too has acted and directed his spy thriller film. So in a way, a lot is at stake for both these stars, which makes this possible clash a really exciting prospect. Also, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is also releasing this Diwali, so make it a triple threat match! Although, Vishwaroopam 2 and Shivaay are the heavyweights at the moment.
