Udta Punjab has finally released and it has received an amazing response from the audience. The film has so far earned a whopping Rs. 38.30 crore. The entire star cast of the film is extremely elated with all the positive responses and they had a few media interactions on the success of the film.

Last evening Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and director Abhishek Chaubey were snapped by the shutterbugs at Mehboob studio while celebrating the success of the film. But what caught the maximum attention was, how smartly ex-lovers Shahid and Kareena avoided each other throughout the evening. Tommy Singh was seen having a gala time with his onscreen lady love Alia during the interviews, while Kareena was away from the venue. And the moment Sasha left, Bebo made her grand entry and began the promotions and she too was having a great time with Alia Bhatt. They timed their entries perfectly. Well, amidst all that avoiding, Alia was literally the centre of attraction as she was showered with all the love by her co-stars.
