Sonakshi Sinha can’t help but be over the moon as her first action flick Akira is set to release on September 2. After Aamir Khan’s hit blockbuster Ghajini, popular south director A R Murugadoss is all set to impress us with this action thriller.
By the looks of it, Sonakshi has undergone a lot of physical training for this role and will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar. Judging by the poster, it looks like she is a one man army fighting the baddies all by herself. She has a feisty role in the movie and will sure do justice to her nickname, Junior Shotgun, through this film.
Sonakshi just took to Twitter to upload this motion poster of Akira which establishes that the flick will be an awesome sauce action drama which will keep us at the edge of our seats. It has been a while since Sonakshi appeared on screen as her last flick was Tevar with Arjun Kapoor which did not cook up a storm at the box office exactly. So, it is obvious that there are a lot of hopes pinned on this one. Let’s see if Akira impresses masses or not. Only time will tell. But it sure looks promising.
