If Ranveer Singh’s fake shark attack can cause controversy, anything can happen!

Remember the Rupa Frontline ad featuring Ranveer Singh, where he was shown attacking and beating a rubber shark? Despite no real animals were hurt, of course, the ad still faced a lot of flak for its idea of hurting animals!

So if Ranveer Singh can’t get scot-free from of a fake rubber shark beating, then do we sense trouble for Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar, the hosts of the recently concluded IIFA 2016 awards show?

As you are aware, Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar made a weird entrance at the function yesterday, when they came riding two donkeys. Or perhaps, mules…I can;t just differentiate between the two in this case!

Bringing animals to any event without any proper arrangements will draw the attention of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), who will look for instances to see if the animal was mistreated or not. So a high profile event like IIFA 2016 will definitely not go unnoticed, especially since Shahid and Farhan’s donkey riding got so much attention and was covered by every entertainment site! And the animals are not looking too happy in the pic! But then we have never seen donkeys being happy!

In these times where every little act is scrutinised and evaluated, especially if a celeb is involved, we may be looking at a new controversy arising here. But if Shahid and Farhan are lucky, the whole matter could be swept under the rug!
