Salman Khan’s rape comment gets him a lot of negative attention

During his press promotions for Sultan, Salman Khan compared his condition after his rigorous training for the film with that of a ‘raped woman’. Though he immediately realised his faux pas but didn’t apologise for the same. He also later compared women to vices like drinks and cigarettes. Naturally, people took his case, as a verbal war ensued between Salman Khan fans and his haters. Though most of Bollywood were quiet on the matter, celebs like Kangana Ranaut, Anurag Kashyap, Sona Mohapatra, Lisa Ray, Zoya Akhtar slammed the actor for his insensitive remark!

Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra win big at IIFA 2016

As expected Ranveer Singh, Deepika and Priyanka took away the big awards at IIFA 2016, which was held at Madrid, Spain. Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor for Bajirao Mastani, while the film also bagged Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali Best Supporting Actress and Best Director respectively. Deepika Padukone got the Best Actress for Piku, while Kabir Khan and Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan got the Best Film award!

Priyanka Chopra’s armpits get trolled!

Priyanka Chopra’s Maxim cover photo got more attention that it required. Some readers felt her armpits have been photoshopped to remove the creases, and soon the picture began to get trolled on Twitter. Priyanka Chopra later posted a proper pic of hers on her Instagram account as a reply to her trollers, where she proudly displayed her armpits (though with the creases!)

Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro trailer is out, and is made of a joke of immediately

Much was expected of Ashutosh Gowariker – Hrithik Roshan’s second collaboration after Jodha Akbar. However, when the trailer came out, the film was slammed for not sticking to actual history and instead of being a schlocky fantasy film inspired from several Hollywood films! Less said about the historical inaccuracies the better!

The much awaited trailer of Mirziya was launched at IIFA 2016, at Spain. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, it’s an unusual love story that spans over over two births. The film marks the debut of Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan and Tanvi Azmi’s niece Saiyami Kher.
