Here's why Ajay Devgn chose to rope in debutant Sayyeshaa Saigal for Shivaay!

The actor is both directing and starring in the film

A lot of big releases are coming up in the latter half of the year, one of them is the Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay. The first look and a few posters of the film have come out and the movie simply looks out of this world. Strangely, Ajay is acting as well as directing this project and he reveals why he decided to cast newcomer Sayyeshaa Saigal for the film.

The main reason Ajay took her in Shivaay is because he believes that the actress is a perfect combination of beauty and talent. He has personally called her a brilliant performer, and the fact combined with her natural good looks makes her the perfect candidate for his film. Speaking to a leading daily, Ajay Devgn was quoted as saying,” When I saw Sayyeshaa’s screen test, I realised she has great potential. It’s rare to find someone who not only has a beautiful face, but is also a fabulous performer. Shivaay is a performance-oriented film and I needed a strong actress for this role.”

Looks like Ajay was super impressed with her during the screen test itself and cast her in his action adventure right away. Sayyeshaa is the daughter of actors Sumit Saigal and Shaheen. Even before the film’s release, she is getting a lot of attention from people all thanks to her flawless beauty. Let us hope that Shivaay makes us all appreciate her acting too. The movie is all set to release this Diwali.
