Naagin: Shivanya kills Kabir with a big help from Shesha

Ritik outsmarts Yamini, posing as Shesha for a change

Today a heartfelt thank you note posted by Mouni Roy on Instagram made us emotional. The popular show is indeed coming to an end. Arjun Bijlani, Adaa Khan and Mouni are posting their last selfies from the sets of Naagin. So here we go, review of one of the last episodes.

Last episode ended on one of the most interesting cliffhanger. Ritik (Arjun) had been kidnapped by Kabir (Rajat Tokas) so that he can retrieve the naagmani. Following which Shivanya (Mouni) begs Shesha (Adaa) to help her out. She agrees but on condition of having Ritik to herself.

Shivanya reaches the venue, and struggles fight off Kabir. Just when he is about to kill Shivanya, Shesha makes a killer entry. She coils her snake body around Kabir and tries to asphyxiate him. Shivanya remembers that only she can kill Kabir, so she runs for an axe, grabs it, and swings it at Kabir – decapitating him! FINALLY! YAYY!

Shesha tries to emotionally blackmail Ritik, saying she saved his life, but he rebuts her advances.

Shesha runs to Yamini to hatch a new plan to outdo Shivanya and Ritik. They decide to release the Maheshwati clan which is trapped behind the Maheshwati wall. This can only be done by a naagin on a particular night when the moon is in a certain phase. Thankfully the entire conversation overheard by Angad, who records all on his phone and shows to his sisters. The Raheja siblings are shocked to realize their motehr’s intentions and decide to tell all Ritik and Shivanya.

Ritik and Shivanya reach the maheshwati wall, but too late. Yamini and Shesha are already there trying to break through it. Thankfully they fail and decide to come back later.

To stop the Maheshwati clan, Shivanya and Ritik are to do a havan which will summon a goddess, as suggested by Guru ji. The catch is- neither of them can leave the ritual in between.

Shesha transforms into Shivanya and tries to seduce Ritik who is out to get the holy water. But Ritik figures out the truth thanks to a code that he and Shivanya had come up with earlier. He freezes Shesha in time with help of a rudraksh garland given by Guru ji.

He even pretends to be Shesha in front of Yamini, so that she wouldn’t interrupt the ritual as she would think its Shesha in the ritual. A round of applause for this brilliant plan.

We got to see a sneak peak of the taandav dance earlier. And the moment has almost here. Ritik and Shivanya will perform the taandav dance in the next episode.

A gripping episode, this was. Kabir’s death comes as a relief. But new dangers lurk over Shivanya’s life and family. Let’s see what happens next!
