Will Siddharth-Alia be a better pair than Aditya-Shraddha in Aashiqui 3?

Will the two be able to live up to the Aashiqui 2 magic?

In April this year, the news of the third film of  the Aashiqui franchise came out. In an interview given to a leading tabloid, Mahesh Bhatt confirmed the news of producing Aashiqui 3 and taking Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra for the film. We are assuming that Alia and Sidharth’s closeness has convinced the producers to cast them in Aashiqui 3 as Aditya and Shraddha’s alleged love affair showed in their onscreen chemistry in Aashiqui 2 and did wonders for the Mohit Suri film.

While we are eager to see Siddharth and Alia again onscreen after Kapoor & Sons, we are still not over the fact that we won’t get to see Shraddha and Aditya in Aashiqui 3. Thanks to its songs and romantic story line, Aashiqui has always been a hit with the audience, be it 1990 or 2013. Rahul Roy had become an star  overnight after Aashiqui and so did Shraddha and Aditya in 2013.

While the Baaghi actress has clarified that she is happy that Alia has been roped in for Aashiqui 3 as it’s a totally different film, it still remains to be seen whether Alia Bhatt and Siddharth will be able to recreate the magic that the Aashiqui 2 actors did. However, Shraddha-Aditya fans need not frown as we will get to see the couple in Ok Jaanu soon.
