Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza: Mona Singh, Ssharad Malhotra, Aditi Bhatia are a refreshing change in the show

After hosting more than 200 celebrities, 50 episodes, and uncountable of funny jokes, Comedy Nights Bachao is back with a new season titled Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza. Mona Singh takes over as the host. We already know how much Mona Singh enjoys comedy since she is the star of the show Kavach (LOL). Mona does a graceful job as the host, and is not just good face on the show. Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek are not at all happy with their job being snatched away from them by Mona. Yep! This season will see Krushna and Bharti as contestants on the show, not hosts. Though we will miss their hosting shenanigans, we are sure their acts will more than make up for the lack of it.

All the contestants have been replaced with new faces, hence the ‘taaza’ in the title. Sumeet Vyas, you know our favourite Mikesh Chaudhary from the hit web series Permanent Roommates, seems like sanest of all. There were rarely any moments on the show where he burst out in laughter but rather held a smile throughout.

Also, joining the show is Ssharad Malhotra, currently starring in the popular show Kasam – tere pyaar ki. Who knew Ssharad had that impeccable comic timing! It will indeed be refreshing to see him on the comedy show, so contrasting from his personality on Kasam. Balraj, and Nia Sharma are his partners in crime on Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza.

Amruta is probably the most talented of the female contestants and manages to throw in a couple of humourous punches. Manan Desai might be the most talented of the male contestants. They are paired together and make a funny combo.

Aditi Bhatia, is the most starry addition to the show. Star of Yeh Hai Mohabattein, we should remind you, plays daughter of Anita Hassanandani on it. Funny to see her replace her on-screen mother.

Today’s guest judges were the cast of upcoming film Tutak Tutak Tutiya minus Tamannaah. Sonu Sood, Prabhu Deva and singer Navraj Hans were totally in fun mood. They enjoyed the punches a lot. The show’s format of roasting has been toned down by a 100 notches. Maybe this time we will see even more celebs coming on the show.

Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza is a decent sequel to the hit show. A new twist while maintaining a certain quality from the old format. We are in for some good laughs over the coming time.
