Apart from this biographical sports drama, his 3 films Kai Po Che!, Shuddh Desi Romance and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy also had a fair opening at the box office.
M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story is directed by Neeraj Pandey, who previously helmed Baby, Special 26 and A Wednesday. The film also features Anupam Kher, Disha Patani and Kiara Advani in key roles.
