Bigg Boss has been known as one of those platforms that gives you recognition and fame. In fact, Mahesh Bhatt had decided to cast Sunny Leone in his films right after he met her in Bigg Boss. Prince Narula, who had won the last season of Bigg Boss, is doing a TV show called Badho Bahu, based loosely on the lines of Dum Lagake Haisha, and plays the main lead in it. Gautam Gulati, an ex-contestant, too, was helped a lot by Bhai. In fact, there was buzz that Bhai helped Gautam win Bigg Boss 8.
Bigg Boss is controversy’s middle name, opportunities being the first name. Elli Avram
Elli Avram became such a good friend of Salman’s that she literally give his girlfriend, Iulia Vantur, a rush of insecurity. In fact, Elli is the only person who is allowed to even touch his phone. Bigg Boss opened the gates of myriad offers for Elli and she was in the news constantly, thanks to link-up rumours with Sallu. They’re great friends and Bhais relationship with her definitely got her a few gigs.
Ashmit Patel
Anybody who has seen Bigg Boss 4 can never look at Ashmit Patel the way we and many others like us do. The actor had a steamy affair with Veena Malik and the two were like fire on the show. Ashmit Patel got into a lot of controversy after having an affair with the then Pakistani actress and also affected his reputation in the country. But Bhai hai toh kya darr! Salman Khan recommended the actor in the movies and even casted him in his film, Jai Ho. Ashmit recently made his debut in fiction on Television with the show ‘Amma’.
Armaan Kohli
After Jaani Dushman, Armaan Kohli hardly got any films but he did get recognised when he decided to enter the Bigg Boss house. The actor was dating Kajol’s sister Tanishaa in the show and was also in Bhai’s good books. So much that he even got a role in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Santosh Shukla
The regional actor managed to impress Salman Khan so much that Bhai even funded his brother’s kidney surgery. Not just that, the regional actor was casted in Jai Ho and also bagged another Sajid Nadiadwala film. In fact, Salman Khan even got his own trainer to train Santosh Shukla and made sure they worked out together at Salman Khan’s farm house in Mumbai.
Gautam Gulati
There was buzz that Salman Khan had secretly guided Gautam Gulati into winning Bigg Boss 8. A wild card entry in Bigg Boss 8, Puneet Vashishth, revealed that you need to be in Salman Khan’s good books to win and that he decides the winner. Though a lot of other contestants like Gauhar Khan, Juhi Parmar and Urvashi Dholakia denied the fact calling Bhai a good and fair human being. The actor did land a couple of roles in movies and TV shows after Bigg Boss 9 and was recently seen playing the role of Ravi Shastri in Azhar.
