The lead actress of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Hina Khan is making news since a few days. It seems the lady’s reported insecure ways have dissed the channel and makers. Delhi-bred Hina made her debut on TV with this show and has become of the industry’s most loved bahus with her role. Buzz was the lady would insist on reading the screenplay to ensure that the younger actors, Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi did not get more mileage than her. The new love story between the three is being loved by viewers and the lady felt she needed to reaffirm that she is the leading lady of the show. Besides this, rumours of unprofessionalism and high-handedness are also dodging the lady.
Well, the show completed 2,200 episodes today. The producer Rajan Shahi of Director’s Kut celebrated it with a traditional style havan on the sets in Film City and a scrumptious Rajasthani lunch, which was a big hit among the guests and cast.
Producer Rajan Shahi gave a statement, “It’s been a great journey and it’s the hard work of the whole team. I feel that even in today’s time a show like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain stands apart from many other shows and the characters are grown and evolved. It has a strong foundation and the new people coming and giving it more and the texture of the show still has freshness and emotional connect. Good team makes good shows.”
Those present at the event were Rajan Shahi, Deepa Shahi, Hina Khan, Rohan Mehra, Kanchi Singh, Yash Gera, Vishal Singh, Mohsin Khan, Shivangi Joshi, Vineeta Malik, Ashita Dhawan and Romit Raj. Hina Khan was seen participating in the havan along with Rajan Shahi and lead actor Vishal Singh. She also posed for photographs for the media personnel. The lady participated in the cake cutting as well. Dressed in a green T-shirt and black track pants, she seemed totally at home. As stories of her getting replaced does the rounds, industry sources say the lady might sort out all matters with the producers. After all, Rajan Shahi is her mentor in this industry and she has tremendous respect for him. It should be remembered that she supported him when there was some backlash regarding Karan Mehra’s exit from the show. As stories of troubles do the rounds both Hina and her producer have kept mum about the matter.
