Sara Khan is fine and IGNORANT in Pakistan!

The relations between India and Pakistan are tense. We know about the Uri incident in Kashmir that left 17 dead. Today, India has retaliated with counter surgical strikes. We have seen how the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena is demanding that Karan Johar remove Fawad Khan from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Mahira Khan be chucked out from Raees respectively. However, what many people are unaware of is that TV actress Sara Khan is doing a show in Pakistan. It is titled Kaisi Yeh Mohabbat Hai. Yes, it also has Pakistani sensation Noor Hasan. The show will be telecast on ARY Digital. It is produced by Sana Shahnawaz, who is Pakistan’s biggest producer.

It should be noted that at a time when celebrities have taken a stand on social media congratulating Indian soldiers on their #SurgicalStrikes, Sara has preferred to be silent. The lady who is quite vocal otherwise has been quite secretive about the show to the media in past one month. However, she has quite a few pictures on Insta that show her fabulous bonding with her Pakistani co-stars. At a time, when channels have pulled the plugs on Pakistani shows just to show solidarity with India’s armed forces, we don’t think people will take Sara’s doing a Pak show so lightly.

The lady today in an exclusive statement to India Forums said, “No, we have not shifted the shoot to Dubai. Actually, I was in Dubai to shoot for an ad and then now I am in Pakistan shooting for my show. And things are pretty much fine here.” She said this to clear the rumour that the base of her shoot was shifted to Dubai fearing the tense situation.

We messaged Sara to know if she was aware of India’s surgical strikes but the lady chose not to revert. A few days back, she gave a general statement on how the death of our soldiers on the border was really heart-breaking and she hoped that peace was restored soon. The lady rather diplomatically did not speak on the issue on Pakistani artistes working in India at all. We guess that she was playing safe.

Today, her exclusive statement has drawn focus to the fact that she is in Pakistan and happy shooting there. At a time, when the country is facing flak from all its Asian neighbours, we don’t know if Sara is actually oblivious to the situation. They say that ignorance is bliss. And it is a blessing that she is not being discussed like Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan whom many are aware of.
