The much awaited reality show Bigg Boss 10 is just around the corner. The audience are as excited as the contestants for Bigg Boss 10 to start. While most of the contestants have been confirmed, some are still a surprise. Karan Mehra Rohan Mehra, Gaurav Chopra, Antara Biswas, VJ Bani, Lopamudra Raut and Rahul Dev are the confirmed celebrities who are going to enter the Bigg Boss house. How much fun it will be to watch these celebs compete with non-celebrities or rather, commoners in the house this time! The Bigg Boss house has a different theme every year and the decor of the house is changed to suit the theme.
Since this year, there are commoners who are going to be an important part of the competition, the house is remodelled to do justice to the theme. The decor of the house this season is a combination of different Indian cultures and looks like a modern Indian palace. (P.S. The house also has a lavish and gorgeous Jacuzzi) It has very earthy tones and is very colourful. Omung Kumar has remodelled and designed the house this season and has added very interesting elements to the house. We can’t wait for all the drama that is going to happen in the house and in the various cosy corners of the house. Yes, the seating arrangements are so comfortable, you could sleep on the chairs. Here are few things that are different in the house this year.
Who sleeps where
The bedroom area has been designed in an interesting way. While there are some 7 separate single beds, there is a special massive bed which is reserved for the remaining contestants. Intriguing, isn’t it? Seven contestants are going to sleep in one large bed while others get their own single beds.
Lanterns and earthy tones
Since the theme this year is modern Indian palace, there are a lot of lanterns and decor with earthy tones to it. There are mud pots and Warli drawings on the walls in the patio area. There are lots of colourful lanterns and mirrors inside the house. The house is very colourful and gives you a positive feeling. Honestly, 5 minutes into the house and my reaction was ‘How can someone fight in a house this comfortable and beautiful?’. The house is filled with hues of pink, purple, gold and royal blue. The house also has some intricate and trendy designs that will leave you spellbound.
The Jail
This is an interesting addition to the Bigg Boss 10 house. There is a jail in a corner of the garden which is obviously for punishments. The jail has been designed in such a way that you wouldn’t want to go anywhere near it. It looks dusty and dirt. There are two cot-type beds inside the jail and a toilet that has been painted to look filthy and disgusting. It has a very Bollywood-y feel to it with a matka of water and faded low-quality metal plates. And by the looks of it, most of the fights and drama is going to happen in this area.
The royal kitchen
The kitchen is a bright golden colour and looks royal AF. Since kitchen is where all the fights and gossips usually happen, it is large and classy.It also has a large dining table and a mini-fridge with cans of Appy Fizz.
The confession room
The confession room has a huge throne that is covered in glittery gold and also has rustic lamps hanging from the ceiling. The walls are a deep red adding yet another royal and glamorous touch to the house.
The royal bath
Apart from the extravagant Jacuzzi, the bathroom is the perfect place to unwind. The bathroom has purple and other hues of royal blue in addition to intricate peacock graphics.
The living room and patio
The living room not only has a massive couch but also has huge cushions and pillows in the floor to sit on. The seating arrangement in the patio area reminds you of the simpler times when there were hand-painted furniture and royal mattresses, in addition to beautifully carved mirrors; the times when there were no recliners or sofas and people just sat on rugs or piles of cushion.
