Jasmin Bhasin to reprise Preity Zinta’s character from Chori Chori Chupke Chupke

The lovely Jasmin Bhasin who played Twinkle Taneja in Tashan E Ishq is all set for her TV comeback. Jasmin, will be seen as the third lead in Shashi and Sumeet Mittal’s new production, Dil Se Dil Tak. The actress will be essaying a character similar to that of Preity Zinta from Chori Chori Chupke Chupke. For Delhi born Jasmin, playing Twinkle was far easier than her new character. However, she has taken on the challenge to do something totally different this time round. The actress will be playing a Gujarati bar dancer on the show that deals with surrogacy. Jasmin told The Times of India, “I’ve never played a Gujarati character. I took up this offer as a challenge, and am attending workshops to learn the language and work on my diction. I hope I am able to do justice to the character.” She will be joined by Rashami Desai and Siddharth Shukla. It is indeed a very good-looking trio. Rashami is also coming back with a full-fledged role after Uttaran while Sidharth was last seen on Balika Vadhu. The actor did a few reality shows in between and hosted India’s Got Talent. The lady is putting in a lot of effort and even watching Gujarati films. She adds, “My character hails from a small village, where she worked as a bar dancer. But in the city, she does odd jobs.” Preity was also a bar dancer in the Abbas Mustan romantic drama. Salman Khan played the role given to Sidharth Shukla while Rani Mukerji was his wife. With her lovely looks and screen presence, Jasmin is the quintessential TV hottie. The gal has done a few films down South also.
