Last night we had reported as to how our Editor in chief Tushar Joshi was a part of an exclusive private screening of the new trailer of xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, that was organised by Deepika Padukone. And he came out of the screening quite impressed with what we say. Going by his feedback, the trailer will manage to overshadow any disappointment you had with the first teaser trailer of Vin Diesel’s upcoming actions thriller, over the fact that it had little of Deepika Padukone. The new trailer will have a lot of Deepika moments, which showcases her kick ass avatar, as a girl who won’t take anything lying down, even if the person opposite her is Xander Cage.
If you don’t believe her, Paramount Pictures have released a new clip from the film, which is also a part of the trailer. You have the scene in stills, now see it in action. Here Deepika Padukone (looking scorching hot in that black outfit). who plays Serena Unger in the film, is seen leaning on a wall in a dark alley. She asks Vin Diesel if he is looking for someone, to which he replies that guess he has already found that someone. Immediately she attacks with a knife, and he is quick to retaliate. The clip ends with Deepika playing a knife on his neck and he returning the favour by pointing a gun at hers. Check out the clip here…

xXx: The Return Cage will also star Samuel L Jackson, Tony Jaa, Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev and Neymar. The film is directed by DJ Caruso and is scheduled to release in January next year.
