The actress who attended the Filmfare Glamour and style awards this year was awarded with the trendsetter of the year award. She literally dazzled on red carpet in her Labourjoisie gown and was presented the trophy by none other than Rekha. Though the actress known for her love of Kanjeevaram sarees is often described as eternal beauty but giving her the credits for Ash’s beauty and grace is just not acceptable. The actress who went on stage to collect the award from Rekha was requested to answer one question by this veteran actress. She asked Ash, “When was the first time you saw me (Rekha)?”Aishwarya obviously clueless about the answer replied, “In a movie I guess.” Rekha denied the answer and asked, ” Should I tell you when? It was during the time when you were in your mother’s womb.” We guess she noticed that the actress didn’t get the this connection so she further added, ” Your mother use to look at my pictures while she was expecting you and this is the result of that (she meant Ash).” So with this statement, did she take the complete credit for Aishwarya’s beauty or did she hint that Ash should thank her for the looks she possess? Rekha is always known for the controversial remarks she makes and things she has to reveal. In a controversial interview carried by Stardust in 1978 Rekha made some explosive revelations. She said that she was hurt by Amitabh’s decision to not to work with her but her anger was towards Jaya. “At an award function some time ago, I’d recited a few lines. Everyone imagined they were meant for him. But actually, it was for her,” said Rekha. She recited the lines in the interview: “:I looked at you, you turned your face away. Why? You feel you are badly off, but can’t you see my position is worse?
