No kidding there, right? Okay, let’s take a moment here and talk about just how hot Fawad Khan is. He has literally stolen our hearts and taken it back to Pakistan as he is currently staying a little away from Bollywood, courtesy the political unrest between both the countries. But looks like he sure has left us with a really good impact. Not just us but even Bollywood celebrities. And one such lad who has found his Christian Grey in Fawad is none other than the industry’s newest entrant, Harshvardhan Kapoor! The Mirzya actor, who decided not to sound too arrogant and chose to let the Christian Grey role go to the Pakistani heartthrob. If by now you don’t know who Christian Grey is then I suggest you pay a little more heed to Hollywood news and of course, some literature would also do the trick. He’s the sadistic lover of Anastasia Steele in EL James’ famous Fifty Shades franchise. Known for his eccentric yet magnetic personality in the book, the character soon rose to fame and has been obsessed over by girls ever since.
At a recent awards show red carpet, Harshvardhan was bombarded with questions and being such a gentleman, he patiently answered them all. During the same, he was asked who according to him is most suitable to play Christian Grey. To this, the actor gave a rather charming answer as he said, “I would like to say myself but people would think I’m too vain and arrogant so I’m gonna avoid doing that. I think Fawad.” Now that’s definitely quite right. Not that we’d mind seeing the young actor take on the role of the eccentric character that Grey is but could there be anyone else but Fawad to pull off the role? There are a lot of restrictions and clauses that Mr Khan has but this is one dream that we wish could come true! Now we already know how things are not working fine for the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor with respect to his Bollywood career. With the current political unrest clouding India and Pakistan, the artistes have also been on the receiving end with India banning Pakistani artistes. Ah, bad times don’t give a warning but surely we can hope for better days and that also includes Fawad’s entry back in Bollywood along with political scenes sorting between both the countries. Having said all that, let’s go now to Harshvardhan Kapoor’s apt answer for all the Christian Grey fans over who else can play the character. Girls right now might be dying of anticipation after seeing the trailer of Fifty Shades Darker that released sometime ago. The first part was such a HUGE hit that since then, eagerness for the film’s release has escalated to another level. Although Harsh stated that Fawad would be best suited to play Christian Grey, one cannot ignore how he first revealed that he himself would be apt to play the role. The actor just made his Bollywood debut in Rakyesh Omprekash Mehra’s Mirzya. The film didn’t fare well with critics as well as box office but the debutant’s acting skills were quite raved about. Perhaps he could be one helluva Christian Grey, given a chance! Check out the video below!
