Shah Rukh Khan has been in the European continent for around more than two months now. He is shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s The Ring across various cities like Amstaerdam, Lisbon, Prague and the latest being Budapest. The movie which also stars Anushka Sharma has finally wrapped it’s outdoor schedule and the entire unit will soon shift their base. So if you are wondering where are they planning to shoot next and if it’s another exotic destination, let us tell you that you’re partly correct. Imtiaz hasn’t wrapped the movie completely but he will shoot for the remaining scenes in none other than Aamchi Mumbai, so nothing exotic here! Yes you read it right. As per the reports in DNA, the actor is coming back to his home city towards this month end and a major movie schedule has been planned in the city which will start in November and go till the end of December. However the movie is not the only reason why SRK is returning to Mumbai. If you guys remember, the actor is supposed to appear as the first guest on the Karan Johar’s popular chat show, Koffee with Karan, season 5. He will be joined by his Dear Zindagi co star Alia Bhatt on this premiere episode. We were about to wonder if Karan’s best friend will be able to keep his commitment since we never heard about his Mumbai schedule earlier. It was extremely essential for this Baadshah to return back for two main reasons. Firstly for Koffee with Karan and secondly to promote his next release Dear Zindagi which hits the screen in November. Erasing such a big star from the movie’s promotions will be a foolish mistake which no director will be willing to make. Also we were earlier informed that Shah Rukh is suppose to shoot for some scenes from his January release movie Raees. The movie is facing wrath already for casting Pakistani actress Mahira Khan in it. There was a song sequence to be shot between this lead couple but now with this ban imposed, the makers are in a fix. While Shah Rukh can still shoot his scenes in Mumbai, getting the two actors together for a song is a major hurdle faced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani(movie’s producers). So looking at so many pending projects in hand, it was advisable that he comes back soon and start wrapping it one by one.
