Rumours of Hina Khan exiting Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai resurface – here are the deets!

Hina Khan’s role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been under a lot of speculation since late. It seems the lady’s tantrums reportedly made life hell for the producers and channels. Rumour mills were abuzz about how Akshara interfered in the creative process and was insecure about the increasing role of young generation on the show. As of now, it is the love track of Naira (Shivangi Joshi) and Karthik (Mohsin Khan) that is engaging the audiences. Reports also said that Hina was going around saying that she quit the long-running soap for better opportunities. However, in an exclusive interview to ABP’s Saas Bahu and Saazish, the lady made a few revelations…

#The lady said that she would quit the show when she felt like quitting it. No amount of rumour-bullying or speculations would dishearten her. Hina admitted that as an actor she was preparing herself for different opportunities but she was very much a part of the show. #The current track featuring Mohsin and Shivangi is doing well. Hina clarified saying that she was a secure actress. “It is good that young people are getting a fair chance. Everyone deserves an opportunity,” stated the Delhi-bred girl.

#Hina rubbished claims that she would insist on the creatives altering the script to give her more footage. She said that she was never a part of the creative process and her role as an actor was to do complete justice to the part given to her. We are not given the script in advance so how do we make changes was her refrain. Hina also said that her fans were complaining about her decreasing screen time, which itself negated the talks of her demanding 70% of the footage in a given episode. #Hina also refused to take the blame for decreasing TRPs saying that it was totally the audience’s prerogative and every show had its lean phases. She said nor she or the producers could do anything about it.

Hina kept quiet throughout the period when the rumour-mongering around her was intense. The lady stated that it was better to stay away to avoid the negativity. And for her being happy at work was paramount in life. However, she attended the havan organised by Rajan Shah a few days back to shut down rumours of her exit.
