Akshay Kumar has so many work to credit his position in Bollywood today. The actor has given his fans a variety of entertaining films. While some of them have been strictly for the folks who like their funnybones tickled to the ones who like to see him go all action and intense on them. And no matter which film he does, you can expect a lot of hardwork and precision from his side. Even in his upcoming film, Rustom (which is based on the famous Nanavati case), the actor once again proves that he can go to any lengths to keep his fans happy and entertained. In this multi-starrer that has him lead opposite Ileana D’Cruz, the actor plays the role of a navy officer.

To make his role a bit more dramatic and authentic, the makers actually got permissions from the Indian navy so they could use one of the ships to shoot the film. The actor tweeted out this behind the scenes video where you see him work hard and go through all the perils to bring out the right feel of his character. He even stated in his tweet that it was one of his most memorable moments while shooting Rustom. Kumar said, “While there were many memorable moments during the shoot,this one definitely stands out 4 me,watch #RustomOnWarship”

The actor’s two releases this year i.e. Airlift and Housefull 3 have all been super successful at the box office. In fact, Airlift owned the box office before The Jungle Book and even Sultan. The film remained undisputed even by Shah Rukh Khan’s fan! This is his second film that is based on true incidents. Once you see the video, you’ll know just how much of work the actor has put in for his role as Rustom Pavri. He also saluted the Indian navy officials for their relentless work and protection for the country. Slated to release on August 12th, the film clashes with Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro. Will it beat Roshan’s period drama?
