Papon is on cloud 9 after Salman Khan called Bulleya his favourite song!

Salman Khan just made Papon’s day by calling sufi number Bulleya his favourite! Papon, Sultan’s music composers Vishal and Shekhar and their fans were keen on having the video of the song released. Sultan’s all other songs – Jag Ghoomeya, 440 volt, Baby ko Bass were released separately well ahead of the film’s release. However,Sachi Muchi,another song of the film, was released on July 12 i.e. 6 days after the film hit the screens.

Those who have heard Sultan’s soundtrack might know that Bulleya is a situational track that Papon has sung in the film. The song comes after Sultan and Aarfa’s separation. A fan had tweeted to YRF and Vishal Dadlani saying, “@yrf @SultanTheMovie @VishalDadlani Plz Release Bulleya!! Eagerly waiting for that song!” To this the composer of the film, Dadlani had replied, “Not in my hands, but many people are waiting for it! Maybe @paponmusic & V+S should do a video for it! Y’think?”. Papon replied to Vishal’s tweet saying, “I get so many requests everyday! Maybe they release it later :)” But when the passionate fan asked him not ‘to beg’, the singer added, “@manjumathur1 @VishalDadlani :)) thankx. Just that people see music more than listening these days you want a good song to reach more hearts.” Vishal had a reply for this too… “Truth is, the film’s been loved, so it has carried the song to most of our people. But…a video’d be nice! #Bulleya.”

Salman’s tussle with signers is not a new one. Who is unaware of Arijit Singh and Salman‘s ugly fight over the song Jag Ghoomeya. The song might be topping the charts right now but it was creating buzz for all the wrong reasons a few weeks ago.Arijit Singh’s version of Jag Ghoomeya was dropped for Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s one. Inspite of several persuasions and apology letter from the singer, Salman didn’t keep his version of the song in the film. However, Papon did not have to wait much to get his song released.
