Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi - B-town mourns Rajjat Barjatya's death

The pioneer of Rajshri’s digital venture, Rajjat Barjatya breathed his last yesterday. Bollywood celebs have tweeted their grief.

Rajjat Barjatya succumbed to cancer after battling serious health issues for over 3 months. The MD and CEO of Rajshri Media brought about a big change in the business by heading the digital aspect of their venture. He was the cousin brother of director Sooraj Barjatya. Rajjat, who suffered from cancer for a while now, passed away at 6:30 in the evening, as reported by Spotboye.com. A source close to the entertainment portal had stated, “Rajjat was very ill since the past three months. The family also tried to get a bone marrow transplant done, but things didn’t fall into place.”

Celebs from B-town mourn the loss of one of the brilliant brains of the industry. Actors Salman Khan, Boman Irani, Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, Swapnil Joshi, Richa Chadda shared their grief on Twitter. Director Shirish Kunder and trade expert Taran Adarsh too mourned the death of Rajjat Barjatya by tweeting. Check out all the tweets below.

Having hailed from a filmi family, whose roots were embedded in the entertainment industry since 1947, Rajjat contributed immensely to further expand their family business. Rajshri media credits itself on producing some of the best TV shows and delivering some really good family content for the audience. Rajjat himself created a path breaking progress in the digital medium for Rajshri. It is quite sad to learn about this sudden death at a very young age. We pray his soul rests in peace.
