Rajinikanth’s Kabali Day 5 box office collection: The movie BEATS Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3, Salman Khan’s Sultan records!

Rajinikanth’s Kabali remains undefeated…


After all the frenzy, madness, excitement around Rajinikanth’s Kabali, the movie has opened to an equally maddening response worldwide. Kabali is clearly on a record breaking spree. On the first day, it collected 42 crores at the Indian box office beating Salman Khan’s Sultan Records ( 36.54 crores). Following which Kabali shattered Salman Khan’s Sultan’s opening weekend records (105 crores) as well by collecting 110 crores. On Day 4, the movie collected 15 crores approx at the domestic box office, which totalled up to 144 crores. And now as of Day 5, the movie has crossed 150 crore, however the domestic figures for Tuesday haven’t been confirmed as yet.



If this is the scene at the domestic front, the movie has performed phenomenally even at the overseas box office, Kabali (80 crores) has beaten Dhoom 3’s ( 63.9 crores) collection in the overseas opening weekend. So, Rajinikanth’s Kabali has broken Salman khan and Aamir Khan’s records! Now that is thalaiva for you! 



According to the latest reports, the movie has reportedly raked in 250 crores at the worldwide box office.


Reportedly the movie has been made on a modest budget of 75 crore, of which 50-60 crores was stated to be Rajinikanth’s remuneration.


Rajinikanth’s Kabali is about a Don in Malaysia who defends the Tamilians there. It also stars Radhika Apte and Dhansika. The epic music album has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
